T'Challa, the newly crowned king of the secretive and technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda, must step into his role as both a ruler and a hero after the death of his father. As he faces political unrest and challenges to his throne, he must also confront Erik Killmonger, a mysterious and vengeful figure with a personal connection to T'Challa's family. As the two battle for control of Wakanda, T'Challa must discover what kind of king he wants to be and protect his people from forces that threaten their future.
